Emma Hardy MP
HM Government
Member of Parliament for Kingston upon Hull West and Hessle and leading political campaigner for the coach industry
Westminster
Emma first became aware of the plight within the coach industry after hearing the ‘Honk for Hopes’ campaign outside of her Westminster office.
As a teacher for over ten years Ms Hardy MP was aware of the fundamental role that coaches offer for educational trips, school transport and the vital service they offer to communities. Following on from this, Ms Hardy was determined to champion the ‘forgotten coach industry’ within Parliament, promising to fight for greater support for the industry following the pandemic.
As a direct result of Emma’s determination to help the coach industry, it has received more political exposure than ever before and has given operators the opportunity to raise their concerns with Government.
The support and time Emma gives to the coach industry goes above and beyond what anyone could of expected, a tireless campaigner respected and admired by coach operators all over the country.
Emma Hardy MP has certainly gone more than the extra mile and really is a hero to the coach industry.
