Why Rhys’s our hero…
Rhys joined us as an apprentice straight after completing his A-Levels back in 2017.
Two years later and Rhys completed his apprenticeship with us, moving into his role as Logistics Coordinator. Rhys was already a huge asset to the operations team, but when the pandemic first hit the UK back in March 2020 he really stepped up, taking on multiple roles and continues to do so today.
Rhys has been on-site and has worked throughout the pandemic. He’s been exceptional in his efforts to help out wherever he can to ensure the business continues to run smoothly, with his sheer commitment and determination (even when times get really tough!), Rhys managed to help get essential goods delivered to destinations across the country; from putting food on supermarket shelves to delivering COVID-19 vaccinations to nightingale hospitals.
Rhys’ tenacity over the last year has been fantastic, which has been noticed by directors and colleagues alike, so much so that in our annual employee awards he was voted ‘Employee of the Year 2020’ across our three sister companies.
As one of our youngest employees, Rhys thoroughly deserves the title as RHA Hero in our eyes.
