RHA Heroes, thanking an essential industry

Following the success of last year’s HGV Heroes campaign, RHA Heroes includes people and teams from the haulage, van, and coach sectors.

From delivering essential goods; to supporting communities, colleagues and customers; our industry does a fantastic job at keeping products and people moving – not just when times are hard but every single day of the year.

We’re asking you to nominate drivers, mechanics, warehouse staff, admin teams, or anyone else who you feel deserves special recognition for going the extra mile over the last 12 months.

All nominations will receive an RHA Heroes ‘thank you’ certificate, and at the end of the campaign will be judged by our panel of industry experts to be crowned the ultimate RHA Hero or team of heroes, and will win an experience day of their choice worth £1000. The closing date for entries is Sunday 6 June.

Thank you to our sponsors

We’re delighted to have Michelin sponsoring this year’s campaign. As one of the world’s leading tyre producers, Michelin are proudly dedicated to sustainability and improving the mobility of goods and people by manufacturing tyres and services for every type of vehicle.

Meet our RHA Heroes

We want to celebrate some of the fantastic work that our road transport workers have been doing recently, across multiple sectors, to keep communities, colleagues and customers supported.

Meet some of the RHA Heroes who have been making a difference recently.

Do you know someone who’s stayed on the road to keep the nation going?

This is Jack. He’s worked in the industry since 2016 and he’s autistic. During the week he worked hard at Scania, spending every weekend throughout the summer helping a local farmer by fault-finding and fixing equipment, mowing and feeding livestock.
